1940 Walt Disney Pinocchio Animation Art Sketch Concept

This drawing (and the other Disney drawing I have listed now) was in the collection of Bob McKimson who drew Bugs Bunny cartoons – among others. Not sure what they were used for, but they were definitely drawn at Disney for some kind of production purpose. The sheet has three drawings on it. One is of a fairy, Tinker Bell type character with a wand. One is of Jiminy Cricket. And the last is of a crazy looking guy. ALL of these characters appear in the movie Pinocchio and I believe this sheet was some kind of model or concept art piece. It might have been used so that the artist animating the movie could work out some character details and such, but I am just not sure. It is definitely early and was indeed in McKimson's collection. The sheet measures about 11" x 14" and is made from some very thin paper stock. In great condition with some minor discoloration due to age.
